AED-Plus-bagThe Northwest Response & Northwest First Aid AED team had a great road trip up to Zetec Corporate Headquarters in Snoqualmie, WA  on December 9th to demonstrate our lines of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators.)  Zetec had several older units, and were looking to upgrade those units.

The five members of the Zetec Team were very educated and clearly did their homework before our arrival.  We were really impressed with their level of knowledge in AED technology and their emergency medical response preparedness.  The ratio of responders to personnel is very high, including one volunteer EMT on staff.

Ultimately Zetec chose two  ZOLL AEDPlus® units with carrying cases, two new wall cabinets, and an extra set of CPR-D Padz® for each unit, and one Training Unit II.

AED-Plus-padsWhy Zetec chose NWFA & NWR.

  • Training:  We offer free training to our customers in western Washington who purchase AEDs.  We strongly feel that if you have them you should know how to use them.
  • We are First Responders FIRST.  We use and believe in the lifesaving tools we offer.
  • Trade in value:  Not every old AED is ready for the recycle bin.  ZOLL is one of the very few AED manufactures that will take your old AEDs in for trade. Depending on the age of the unit, make and model, and if it passes a self test, not on any recall list, and in good condition; ZOLL will take them in trade. While the value of each AED may vary most have a value of at least $100.
  • The present trade in offer is scheduled to expire on December 31st, 2014.

We were more than happy to make the trip up to Snoqualmie from Gig Harbor, and it was a good excuse to pop over to Snoqualmie Falls and take in the beauty of one of the wonders of the Pacific Northwest.

If you or your company are looking to acquire an AED please give us a call, we will be happy to demonstrate our line of AEDs.
