In-flight first aid: What’s a passenger to do?

I read a great column this morning in the LA Times on In-Flight first aid. The story is very enlightening.

One quote, that I had not previously know about was in the aftermath of the shooting in Tucson.

“After the shootings in Tucson in 2011, New York Times travel columnist Joe Sharkey noted that “lives literally were saved by the immediate response of a surprising number of ordinary citizens who happened to have been trained in basicĀ first aid.”

The story is a good read for those of us who travel.
